A workhorse in the cutting garden. Strawflowers can be used both fresh and dried in arrangements, bouquets, and wreaths. They even make nice garden plants. This mix is made up of a broad range of colours that we grow here on the farm including white, pale yellow, shades of apricot, watermelon, raspberry ombre, deep red, orange, soft pinks, lemony yellow and deep purple/black.
Hardy Annual
Growing Instructions:
Strawflowers grow best when started in the cooler temperatures of spring. Sow indoors (recommended) 6-8wks before last frost. Surface sow and keep moist by bottom watering or misting to avoid displacing seeds. Transplant out a few weeks before last frost. Strawflowers can handle colder temperatures.
