Bread Seed Poppy

Grow your own poppy seeds and on the way enjoy lovely flowers and interesting seed heads.  Silky pinky purplish petals unfurl, revealing clouds of pollen that is beloved by bees! Once the petals fall and the heads mature, you can cut them and dry them for their seeds. Seed heads make excellent additions to fresh and dried flower works.

Growing Instructions:

Direct sowing is recommended. Sow outdoors as soon as the soil is clear of snow. Poppies germinate best when they receive a little frost. Surface sow. Do not cover.
